There are so many ways to contribute.  Give today to help keep Catalina beautiful and accessible and to support our
many conservation, education and recreation programs.

Your donation makes a difference today and is also an investment in the future of
Catalina Island, benefitting visitors for generations to come. Unrestricted gifts are
particularly helpful because they can be directed to where they are most urgently needed.

Leadership Circle members are a special group of extraordinary donors who demonstrate
that they value one of California’s greatest ecological treasures, share the Conservancy’s
passion for the natural world and belief in the power of lifelong learning. You will enjoy special
membership benefits such as private tours and learning opportunities and receive invitations
to exclusive Leadership Circle events.

Give strategically by donating appreciated securities to Catalina Island Conservancy.
Gifts of appreciated securities enable you to support the Conservancy’s programs and
mission while simultaneously achieving two tax benefits: avoidance of capital gains taxes
and eligibility to receive a charitable deduction for the full fair market value at the time of the gift.

If you are 70 1/2 years old or older, you can give up to $100,000 of your IRA’s
required minimum distribution (RMD) directly to Catalina Island Conservancy without reporting
additional income. It’s simple – keep Catalina wild and beautiful and lower your taxes at the same time!

Legacy gifts help the long-term stability of the Catalina Island Conservancy so we can continue
to protect Catalina Island well into the future. Your legacy gift also helps provide ways for you to
manage your assets and pass on your values.

Many companies offer employees a matching gift benefit that doubles your donation to the
Conservancy.  Matching gifts amplify the impact of your giving to our conservation, education
and recreation programs on Catalina Island.

The Conservancy Ball is the most popular fundraising event on the Island, taking place annually
in April in the historic Casino Ballroom. Ball sponsors and attendees have helped raise more than
$7.5M for Conservancy programs since it began 25 years ago. Sponsors receive exclusive recognition
and hospitality benefits in appreciation of their generosity.

The Conservancy’s Corporate Partner opportunities offer you company the chance to raise
brand awareness, amplify your corporate social responsibility message and network with the
shared communities we serve.

Give directly from your donor advised fund at Orange County Community Foundation.
