White’s Landing Boat-In and Hike

Join the Catalina Marineros for a Boat-In at Whites Landing on Saturday, October 7th.   The Conservancy’s support group of boaters is invited to enjoy a full day of activities beginning at Whites Landing Cove.

This 7-hour excursion into the wildlands of Catalina Island expands on the concepts covered in Naturalist 1 Training. Education staff will guide you through a course-work book while exploring the landscape and ecosystem of Catalina. Course fee is $50.00 for members and $75.00 for non-members

Catalina: The Wild Side Art Show

This year's Catalina: The Wild Side Art Show and Sale features ten nationally renowned artists who have documented remarkable vistas, secluded beaches and favorite locales during their painting trips to the Island this past year. Catalina Island Conservancy’s 13th annual Catalina: The Wild Side Art Show and Sale returns on Sunday, October 22nd. Ninety paintings, specifically created for this show, will be on display and available for purchase both in person at Newport Harbor Yacht Club and online. This year’s artists are Suzie Baker, Carl Bretzke, John Cosby, Andy Evansen, Terri Ford, Jane Hunt, Kim Lordier, Michael Obermeyer, Joe Paquet, Ron Rencher.
