Join us for a guided spring botany excursion into Catalina’s interior, where you’ll explore diverse plant communities and learn from renowned Channel Island botanist Steve Junak.

This 7-hour excursion into the wildlands of Catalina Island expands on the concepts covered in Naturalist 1 Training. Education staff will guide you through a course-work book while exploring the landscape and ecosystem of Catalina. Course fee is $50.00 for members and $75.00 for non-members

Join us for an immersive workshop where you’ll explore the vital role of pollinators in our Catalina Island ecosystems while learning the fiber art of needle felting to create your own fuzzy native pollinator.
