Catalina Kids’ Nature Lab: Afterschool Science Mondays

Join us for our free monthly after-school series at The Trailhead on Monday, March 24, 2025, from 2:45 PM to 4:00 PM. Each month, we’ll explore a new theme and engage in hands-on activities that celebrate the natural wonders of Catalina. This month’s focus is on cold-blooded animals, featuring a slime experiment and other activities.
Additional Details:
- Location: The Trailhead
- Transportation: Avalon School participants will be picked up from the lower turnaround at school and shuttled to the Trailhead Visitor Center by Conservancy staff. Please choose your pick-up option when registering (parent pick-up, shuttle back to school, or allowed to walk home).
- Snacks: Provided for all participants.
- Cost: Free for all participants.
Students must have a signed permission slip to participate. Permission slips will be distributed in classrooms and are due by Friday March 21, 2025. For those who register online, a link to the permission slip (Google Form) will be sent via email after registration. If registering multiple children, please choose that option on the permission form. We will not be taking day-of registration this month.
