Join us for our free monthly after-school series on Monday, March 23, 2026, from 2:15 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Each month, we’ll explore a new theme and engage in hands-on activities that celebrate the natural wonders of Catalina. This month we will be exploring the Wrigley Memorial & Botanic Garden! We will tour the garden while highlighting the remarkable women of Catalina Island. At the end of our tour, students will get early access to explore our new children’s garden installation: Little Fox Hollow.
Additional Details:
- Location: Wrigley Memorial & Botanic Garden
- Transportation: All Avalon School participants will be picked up from the lower turnaround at school and shuttled by Conservancy staff. Please choose your pick-up option when registering (parent pick-up at the Garden at 4 p.m., shuttle back to school for pickup or allowed to walk home from school).
- Cost: Free for all participants.
- Snacks provided for all participants.
Students must have a signed permission slip to participate. Permission slips will be distributed in classrooms and are due by Friday March 20, 2026. For those who register online, a link to the permission slip (Google Form) will be sent via email after registration. If registering multiple children, please choose that option on the permission form. We will not be taking day-of registration.
