Needle Felting Workshop – Create a Felted Fox

Learn about the endemic Catalina Island fox while creating an adorable piece of art.
This beginner level needle felting class includes instruction and all supplies needed for making this small wildlands creature. Needle felting is a fun and relaxing fiber art where participants use a special barbed needle to turn soft wool into a solid shape. By gently poking the wool, it can be sculpted it into creative shapes, like a little fox. No experience is needed, just bring your curiosity and creativity.
Your instructor will tell the story of the resilient Island fox and its remarkable comeback.
Members can join for free.
The event takes place at the Wrigley Memorial & Botanic Garden. Utilize our complimentary shuttle, departing at 10:45 a.m. from the Trailhead Visitor Center at 708 Crescent Ave.
The shuttle will return participants to the Trailhead at the conclusion of the event.
