Join the Catalina Island Conservancy for a special Kayak Excursion in the stunning waters of Little Harbor, one of the island’s most beautiful and ecologically rich coastal areas. This guided experience is open to the public and designed to deepen your connection to Catalina’s marine environment through hands-on exploration and conversation.
As part of our Marine Conservation Month celebration, we’ll be joined by featured speakers from Science Pub Night, offering informal insights and stories about their work in ocean science and conservation while paddling through kelp forests and along the rugged coastline.
This excursion is perfect for nature lovers, science enthusiasts, and anyone eager to experience the island from a new perspective.

Lunch is not included, please pack your own snacks and lunch. Bring a re-usable water bottle. Come dressed for a field day with layers, sun protection, long pants and sturdy shoes.
Boat fare on the Catalina Express is not included. Participants should make those reservations as soon as possible if they do not live on the island.
